One ticked can impact the insurance rate for 3 years. There are also some discounts for good grades in school and choosing a conservative color and vehicle can reduce rates as well. I was just reading that the Matrix has Scion have higher rates because of the amount of tickets drivers get with them, so keeping the clean driving record seems to be a key. Sometimes the insurance is not enough, or it is not worth it. You pay, pay and pay and when it comes to an accident, the company where u have the insurance gives you not whole 100%.
