What started as a ‘hobby’ site for me while I recovered from a back injury has truly taken on a life of it’s own. We have been averaging around 20,000 visits a month lately, which while far from record breaking is not bad for a part-time gig.
Which brings me to my question, the DIY tutorials have been very random, basically I’ve just documented the odd jobs that come my way these days which I’m sure is great if you happen to be doing the same job on the same vehicle.
To make better use of my spare time and to serve our readers better I would like to open up the Comments section of this post for suggestions on what DIY articles you would like to see on this site. We are open to just about anything, as long as it has to do with an Australian delivered vehicle.
Once a suggestion is received I will aim to either put together a full ‘photos and all’ tutorial (providing I can get my hands on a suitable ‘ginuea pig’) or write up an article using the various manuals and books I have here or simply go by memory (on second thoughts after all the pain killers I’ve had over the last three years I think we will scrap that one!).
So if you have a particular job to do and could do with some help and we haven’t covered it yet don’t be shy, please scroll down to the Comments section and leave your suggestions. We may not be able to help everyone, but we will certainly do our best to give you some useful info.
Cheers,
Craig

Hi Craig
Great website here mate. love reading your articles, as a suggestion how about doing one on how to change the spark plugs in a subaru forester ? I have a 2007 5d 2.5l manual model & the job looks to be a very daunting task indeed. Can’t buy service manuals yet (too new) and it seems one might have to remove half the engine bay!!! Not sure if a subaru qualifies, but an article as suggested would sure help me out when the time comes as possibly many others given the subaru forester’s popularity in australia. Thanks Stan WA
Hey Stan,
Thanks for your feedback, I appreciate it. The Subaru definitely qualifies and from memory changing plugs has been a bit tricky in all the models. I can’t see myself getting hold of one to do a complete photos and all article but I will definitely get something together on this subject.
I’ll send you an email when I’m done if you like.
Regards,
Craig
