We have an update onNeville’s Corolla, he has kindly sent us some shots of the car being painted and they are a good example of the shine that can be achieved ’straight off the gun’ with 2-pack paint.
Although acrylic takes a lot more elbow grease to achieve a similar result I still believe that it is the way to go for the ‘home handyman’ painter. From my experiences I have found two-pack to be pretty unforgiving if you don’t have a good grasp of spray painting and unlike acrylic if you do have a stuff up you can’t just leave it for half an hour to dry and wet sand the blemish out.
Having said that, two-pack does look awesome when done right and Neville’s painter mate certainly knows how to lay it down. Check it out.
